Full is full. doesnt matter what fluid is in it but you should never mix the green stuff with dexcool (orange stuff). If the lights is still on then the sensor in the coolant bottle is defective or contaminated or your not full yet.

2003 Saturn ion coolant light flashes on and off. No burnin smell or loss of coolant. Blows how air and the cars temp is perfect.

If everything is working fine, except the light, its either a bad coolant sensor, loose sensor contact, or bad ground etc.

Engine light came on, but OBII scanner will not read on a 2003 saturn ion with 2.2 ecotec. does anyone know what could be the cause?

Borrow another scanner. It has to work. Go to you local auto parts store , they'll check it for free.

2003 saturn ion adding antifreeze every 2 weeks cannot find leak

There should be a radiator cap as it controls what goes into the overfill tank. You might consider replacing it. If there are no leaks in the radiator or hoses, there are only 3 places the coolant can go (water pump leak, blown gasket, or out throught the radiator cap). Hope its the cap because that's the cheapest. Good luck!

My 2005 saturn Ion developed a coolant leak. Something blew up (spewing anti-freeze everywhere) on the drivers side, just behind the headlights. I can't see what it is? Anyone have an idea?

radiator or top coolant hose. that is the only thing that it could be on that side.

let me know if you have more question. good luck

You need to replace your ignition switch. If it has already been replaced then you will prob. need a BCM.
