On my 2003 Saturn Ion, Driver Side window controls not working

On my 2003 Saturn Ion, the Driver Side window controls stopped working. The mirror control works, but none of the window buttons work. On the passenger side door, the button works for that window so I don't think its the fuse. I bought a used master switch off of eBay to see if it was that, but I still get the same behavior. It seems like it is something with the plugs, wires, or beyond. Any ideas?

Noticed a couple of weeks ago that the power controller on the driver's door for the side mirrors is not working. Neither of the side mirrors will move using the inside mirror control. Is this a fuse problem? If so, which fuse controls the side mirrors-my manual does not specifically say which fuse is for the side mirrors. Thanks!

Did you ever solve this problem with your windows? My 03 Ion 2 is doing the same thing. We think it's a wiring issue. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kristen N!

My power window and door locks don,t work.

Try putting direct power to you're window motors and the power locks if everything moves and actuates, u can eliminate those items. also make sure you are getting power to you're switches, u may have a bad wire a bad connection or it may b grounded out. You could also just have a bad switches.

My power windows are malfunctiooning in my saturn. I checked the fuses and the relay. The passenger side control works, but all other windows and driver side controls do not.

sounds like no curent use basic elecric trouble shooting begin with were you have power and work backwords using 12v meter found at any autoparts store.

My rear driver.s side window does'nt go down or up on my 2003 saturn ion what can check for or where are the fuses

the regulator is shot, 10 years about all they are good for. get yourself a new regulator, look on eBay, and do NOT get a used one. take the regulator and your car to a glass shop which does auto glass. pay them 50 bucks to put it in.

I have a saturn ion,2003 my drivers side windshieldwiper stopped working. i was told i have to replace the whole wiper assembly.is that right?

I also have a 2003 Saturn ion and currently I am waiting for the wiper transmission assembly its shipping to my house it takes maybe 1.5 hrs to replace my driver side wiper started flopping all around and then stopped come to find out the transmission was broke because it is plastic 70 bucks on Ebay!

I need to know how to replace the side mirror on 2007 Saturn Ion

You may be lucky and just have to remove the top section just behind the mirror. Usually you have to remove the door panel to access the bolts.

2006 Saturn ion power window on driver side doesn't work, prior to it stopping completely, I noticed that about once a month when I first engaged switch it wouldn't lower, but it worked the very next time...

the switch is bad if the switch is ok then its the motor but my money is on the switch itself.

just for the drivers side window? if so it could be the power window regulator,or ive seen the wire harness in between where the driver door and the body fo the car meet the wires inside there break from all of the flexing from opening and closing the drivers door and that will give you the same problem of inop windows,but the only way to check it is cut that black rubber loom open and look,,,,if it is repair all affected wires with heatshrink **** connectors to make it weather proof and then electricail tape the loom closed nice and tight,,,,hope this helps

Passenger side rear power window wont go back up. I took the motor out and put a new one in. Still won't bring window up.What could the problem be was fine until today. Also power mirrors stopped working...

04 saturn ion window and power lock problems

check the wires going from the driver door into the kick panel there should be a rubber thing around the wires and cut it off and the wires usualy break and loose connection

2006 Saturn, passenger side mirror

Just a screw driver and a wrench or socket (actual size varies with cars)
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
