how to wire it , the motor plugs right in, there is a connector for the wiring .i will see if i can give you a wiring diagram, lets see......okay here is the wiring diagram for your 1994 toyota camry, hope this is helpful, good day....
Almost certainly you either connected the new light wrongly or it overloaded the circuit, hopefully it has only destroyed a fuse - check the vehicle handbook for details. It is possible one or more black boxes have been destroyed...
It is very bad practice to add any accessories to a modern computerised car where much of the switching is done by a black box and not the dashboard switch.
If it is necessary to fit accessories they should either be official manufacturer approved accessories (supplied by a dealer) with detailed instructions or the accessory should be installed and wired completely separately from the vehicle electrics, starting from the battery with a suitable fuse.
If it is necessary to interfere with the vehicle wiring in any way it should be by an experienced person after referring to the circuit diagram...
make sure you have holes in bumper you can run wires through firewall and tie into fuse block+pos wire goes to at least a 20amp fuse and other side toswitch +pos wire from lights goes to other side of switch -neg wire goes to suitible body ground in engine compartment fender bolts use eyelet conector or you can attach to neg term of battery.royedwardtat
For me I managed to install the foglights but not sure how to connect to the power and bring the wire to the dashboard. My car didn't come with wiring connections for foglights. Would appreciate if someone can help me with that ( possibly instructions with pictures), Thanks.
The link below is a Typical fog lamp / driving lamp hookup. Keep in mind that in most states, for these lamps to be 'legal' (and thus pass inspection), you must wire them such that:
1. You can cut them off (in other words, there must be a switch installed to turn them off)
and
2. They may only be operated with the low beams. (therefore, you must power your on/off switch from the low beam circuit)
im pretty sure these cars were already prewired for fog lights .there should be some plugs behind the bumper to fit them.if not get back i will explain how to wire them up.best of luck.
