I have a 2000 Camaro. My problem is front turn signal/fog light related. First...my fog lights don't come on at all. No biggie but mentioning it due to my second part. With my headlights manually on everything works fine up front. Drive without the headlights on and my parking light/turn signal bulb lights up. Both filaments. The heat from the turn signal filament being constantly on melted the plastic assembly. I have changed them but don't want to always have my headlights on to drive. Any thoughts? Thanks, Frank

You can replace the parking light/turn signal bulb with LED lights. The LED draw next to nothing in AMPS and produce no heat at all and last for ever. You can pick up the replacement LED lights for your Camaro at most Auto Parts store like Auto Zone or Pep Boys. Good luck and keep me posted for any more questions you may have, I'm running the LED lights on my wife's Montana for that same reason.

2004 Maxima, front, rear running lights, dash dimmer don't work. Lamps and fuses are good. Possible cause(s)?

All lighting fuses and relays are in a plastic box under the hood close to the battery on top of the inner fender well. Do not mess with the computer, it has nothing to do with the lights. check every fuse in the box under the hood.

Front fog light out how do I replace it

underneath the offending fog light there is an access panel. its held closed with two 10mm bolts. take out the two bolts and reach inside for the fog light. there is a tab you must press inward to turn the the socket. turn the fog light socket and remove it from the fog light housing. replace the bulb, and reverse the steps for reassembly.

Fog lights not coming on when turn switch

It is possibly the light switch that is faulty but before you change this make sure you check all fuses and relative relays

My turn signals stay on

You have daytime runing lights. When you turn the signal off does it just stay on or does it flash? If it just stays on and you have some light dimming problems, it is more than likely a bad ground on the front signal sockets. This can be repaired by cleaning or replacing the sockets. Another cause of this problem can be traced to bad bulbs,a very easy fix.Good luck Moe

Fog lights out on 2001 passat.

The only way a lot of bulbs can burn out at once is overvoltage. Check your charging voltage with the car running, using a multimeter. Should be 13.8 volts; with the car off, about 12.6.
