Grasp the bottom portion of the seat for maximum grip. Pull the seat up and out to slide out the entire bottom. Slide out sideways to remove the seat from the vehicle. The top portion has a bolt on the bottom holding it in. Unscrew the bolt with the socket wrench to loosen the seat. Lift the seat up and pull out to remove it from the vehicle. Slide it out sideways to fit out the doors. Ensure the seat belts are pushed behind the seat to prevent it from interfering in the removal.
remove the whole seat assembly
tip upside down and remove the retainers from the slides and pull the seat of the slides
get new seat slides and reverse the assembly procedure
Most seats are attached to the floor by bolts.
- Slide seat all the way forward and remove rear bolts
- Slide seat all the way back and remove the front bolts.
- Unplug any wires.
- Remove seat.
This process will involve looking under the seat so a kneepad and flashlight may make it easier.
Usually the seat is bolted to the floor in the back. Slide seat all the way forward, look for 2 15mm bolts. take out bolts, tilt seat up, disconnect wires, then slide seat back out of front slots.
There's probably something in the way. Get under and behind the seat with a flashlight and check the back end of the rails to see if something is there.
Your seat is bolted down. slide the seat all the way back as far as it will go, and look at the slide rails( tracks that the seat travels on), you will see 2 bolts. going into the floor on the rails. just undo the 2 bolts, and then slide the seat forward(slowly, the front has no bolts holding it), on the back side of the rails, are 2 more bolts. Remove thise bolts, and you should be able to remove the seat. (This is a manual seat, not a power seat) hope this helps, please rate helpful or not
