I need parts for a Creda cooktop GGH102. Burner covers grey white ring that surrounds that and grey 6 legged rack thingy you put the pots on. Mine are all chipped.

Hello there,
It seems that you may face a problem with your car. Types of
smokes coming out of tail pipe are as follows:
WHITE - Water coolant leaking into engine or Cracked
Cylinder head.
BLUE - Oil leaking in to combustion chambers that is an
Engine problem. Piston Ring faulty
BLACK - Engine is flooded with Gas. Clogged Air Filter
GREY - Trouble in Transmission Fluid. Faulty Vacuum
Modulator.
I had the same problem with my daughters 93 Tracer today. I fixed it by going under the dash (on the drivers side). If you move the temp lever while looking at the parts on the heater, you'll probably see, as I did, that there''s a white plastic piece with a groove in it, that a little bent wire fits into. That wire accuates the temp control. Mine had come out. It has a little white attachment that fits behind the bottom (black plastic thingy) that holds the wire in place. I put a drop of superglue in it and put it back on. It now works fine! Hope that is your problem too. Good Luck!
Most auto parts stores have hing pin replacment kits. they are easy to put in. you need one helper and a floor jack. i got mine at napa they had a KD rack with KD tools and parts on the rack.
Your Jeep is Burning Oil. Do you need a Quart every Now and Then? The only way to fix this is to get the Piston Rings Replaced and is not Cheap. There are a Few Additives on the Market that you can put in the Motor to Minimise the Problem for a While. You need to go to Your Auto Parts Store and see what is available in your Area on these though. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
Thanks for the info. I had the same problem with my mine. The problem was the lock cylinder itself was worn out. To remove it on my '98 4Runner, I removed the four 10mm bolts in the lower panel underneath the steering wheel, and then popped out the small panel surrounding the ignition switch itself. Take off the little white ring that surrounds the keyhole light, and the other ring just slips off. Careful not to lose the little white locking tab if it falls out when you remove the rings. Leave that key light assembly connected. Put in the key, and turn it to "ACC". Look underneath the silver lock cylinder itself and find a small hole. Push a pen or other small object into the hole to release the cylinder from the switch. It pulls straight out. Reverse the steps to install your new lock cylinder. Piece of cake, but much easier if you order a new one and take a good look at it before you start!
What you need to do is remove the 2 screws on the top bezel from inside the engine bay, then underneath the outer corner of the plastic headlamp surround there is a philips screw, (put your head under neath car near from wheel) loosen the screw, do not remove it, now the headlamp plastic bezel/surround will come free enough so you can get a philips screwdriver in through the middle of the headlamp surround, there is a chrome retaining ring holding the headlamp in place, loosen the 3 philips screws (do not remove) The retaining ring will rotate and you can slide the ring out from the outer edge of the headlamp surround. The headlamp will then come out throught the middle of the surround, disconnect the 3 pin multiplug and reverse process for install.
