I have Issue with my Caliber 2007, has a engine light warning on, and the technicianscan the car so he told me has a code P1702 (System:Manufacturer/Specific P codes /Description:Primary) Secondary Oil Pressure / Sensor Correlacion) but he said the Issue is the short circuit or the computer, what do you think...
Just a few thoughts to check first: P1702 TRS Circuit Intermittent Malfunction, not a very common code , usually comes along with other codes, here are some things to check, battery voltage, needs 12.4 minimum motor off,, 14.5 or so with motor running,, have it load tested Meter test your brake switch, a faulty switch will also push this code up this code is usually associated with a P0340 code, if your car is sluggish and rpm's vary at stops , then check the Cam shaft sensor

P1702; TRS (transmission range sensor) circuit malfunction.
Basically the sensor that detects which gear is selected is possibly not working, or the circuit that supplies power to it isn't working, or a possible faulty PCM.
