which fan? if you are talking about the engine fan, it will run on until the temperature drops, but if you are talking about the heater fan, thats not right
SOURCE: Driver's side power window goes down, but not up.
hi, take the door panel off and check the window motor. sounds like the resistance of the window going back up is causing the motor to slow down and freeze up. higher than normal amperage is required to roll the window up, rather than down which had gravity helping it. unless there is a bad spot in the regulator(the part that controls the window going up and down). windows will freeze up when the internal brushes get worn, sitcky. check the motor by tapping on it with light force while rolling up when it gets to the sticking point. or help the motor by pushing pressure up on the window through the range. if it works okay like this, it's the window motor. but when you go to buy a part, you may find that the window motor maybe included only as assembly with regulator. check it out.

well it may help if you open the hood, then start the car and see if that helps you locate the item which is whistling. many cars have a power steering pump which likes to whistle until it gets warm. generally this is less than 5 minutes, and that is more like a screeching sound. something is either blowing out or sucking in through a small orifice to make the whistle, you need to physically locate the source of the sound. many bearings are in there spinning and any of them can be doing a cold screech.
myself I have been know to use a BFS, which is a big long screwdriver, i touch the pointy end to each of the spinning components and put the handle end to an ear. yes this process is not suggested for people with long hair or just no damn sense. but as i move the pointy end from component to component i know immediately when i touch it to the screechy one.
SOURCE: drivers side turn signal does
Hi, usually if the signal is blinking fast, it means there is a problem with the circuit. Usually this is caused by a lightbulb going out. They've engineered the cars to blink fast to let you know that the bulb might be out, since you usually can't see your own turn signals. I'd try replacing the rear taillight bulb first to see if that fixes the problem.
As for the signal that does not shut off, i would start at the bulbs and access them and check there connectors for melting. This unit is known for this, unplug the bulb and check its connectors, check all four Also the ground for the r/f turn signal and headlamp is right by the headlamp, its a wire that is bolted to the body
Thats about all I can think of right now, there is no known problems like this through Ford
