SOURCE: Vacuum Line Schematics

There are MANY sites with information as well as diagrams available created specifically for select areas of Vehicle maintenance. --NO sarcasm intended or implied--
Use Google or your preferred search engine and type in your Vehicle and you should receive a Phone Book of options.
Vacuum Lines are generally the same on the same Make of Automobile except of course for differing Engine sizes and years of Production, otherwise ask the person or persons that did the partial rebuild.

This is the way (Google) I usually discover what I'm seeking.

SOURCE: automatic transmission - radiator line leak

The cooling system is pretty much self explanatory hoses go from and to the most obvious places...(you wouldn't try to stretch the lower hose all the way across to the upper hose connection). The trans cooler in the radiator can actually be connected either way. It is non-directional, being a simple coil inside the radiator tank. If you want to install an external trans cooler, that's a bit different...it needs to go on the outflow side of the radiator so it can further cool what the radiator has already cooled down. An easy way to find out which side is the return line, simply take one fitting off the radiator, remove the coil wire so engine dosen't start and "bump" the engine over till trans fluid comes out. if out of radiator nipple you are on the correct side, out of hose, install on other side. Leaking lines can be partially replaced using brass compression fittings made for this. Only use them on straight clean runs, not on heavy rust or bends.

SOURCE: where can I get a schematics for a 2.5 4 cylinder engine

Go to autozone.com, they have vacuum diagrams. Register your vehicle, it's free. Click on "vehicle repair guides". Click the emissions link, I believe, then in the left column click vacuum diagrams.

I don't mind posting a diagram but mine usually get deleted. I think the site is worried about copy wright issues?

Need diagram to replace vacuum lines on a 1981 Jeep Grand Cherokee

sorry there were no GC until 1993, so post real car, and real year, and model. is this a typo, 2001 ????
which engine? we cant guess that.
or your country, is this and EXPORT JEEp, the FSm has many pages, usa, and export for each engine, not one that i can guess, unstated.
the under hood had a vacuum map, but in 1981, ahhhhhhhh, not sure. (open hood look up and under see EPA vac, map)
1981 is a carb, good luck fixing carbs. huh, finding kits on some are H3LL on earth today, for some engines.
our free books go back to 1993 only
why not (best advice there is) get the 1981 FSM used off Ebay
and have all the answers, ok?

repost real car and we can get any diagram with engine and country stated (usa or export)
is this a AMC car, and a real JEEP?
AMC invented the first Cherokee and no GC EVER.

read the wiki on GC (quote)
The Grand Cherokee's origins date back to 1983 when American Motors Corporation (AMC) was designing a successor to the smaller Jeep Cherokee (XJ).[3] Three outside (non-AMC) designers-Larry Shinoda, Adam Clenet, and Giorgetto Giugiaro-were also under contract with AMC to create and build a clay model of the Cherokee XJ

258 cu in (4.2 L) AMC I6
360 cu in (5.9 L) AMC V8 2-barrel
360 cu in (5.9 L) AMC V8 4-barrel
401 cu in (6.6 L) AMC V8 4-barrel

the vacuum setups vary by carb used
and if FED usa or Calif USA setups
fed was called 49 state back when...
and there is the high altitude versions.

How to test egr valve

To test this valve, bring the engine up to 2,000 rpms to create back pressure, then apply vacuum. EGR should open and cause a 100 rpm drop or more. Exhaust leaks or a modified exhaust
