You have a fuse and relay for the pump obviously your pump is working from the hot wire so check to see if there's a bad /loose relay/fuse if not there's a break in a wire do a continuity test on thdm

Then the engine fuse may be blown it will be marked ECM I think, the fuel pump and injector circuits are two seperate systems, the fuel pump most likely has a stuck relay.

The relay is more than likely in the fuse box under your hood.

I would check that box first, then the inside one.

I think it's in the battery box, I know in the older models it was there, number 301.

SOURCE: P0302 CODE

Probably has a plugged catalytic converter from the misfire that was on cylinder #2, which was indicated by the code. If you wanted to confirm the plugged cat, you could remove the precat O2 sensor and drive it. It will be noisy, but if you get an increase in power, you know you have a restriction

SOURCE: I don't here the fuel pump ever kick on in my 1990 Ford F150, and I tested all of the fuses and they are good. I was thinking the relay for the fuel pump might be bad -- any suggestions?

It's under your hood, in one of those boxes, and should be marked. Your pump won't cut in if it's fried either. Check to see if there is power at the pump. Maybe you just have a loose wire. You can always hope!

I HAVE A SLIGHT PROBLEM, 2 LITTLE THINGS WITH MY 1990 FORD BRONCO. THE ONLY WAY IT STARTS IS IF I POUR GAS IN THE THROTTLE BODY, IT RUNS FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN IT SHUTS OFF. I CAN HEAR THE FUEL PUMP...

It sounds like the problem is not fuel pressure (check it at the schrader valve on top of engine) but that the fuel injectors are not delivering fuel to the engine, this can be no power to the injectors (red wire should be hot with key on) or a burnt out ECM.

Ran out of gas ,now drives rough 1990 150

Hi there it is most likely dirt in the fuel filter, when you run out of gas you bring up all the crud from the bottom of the tank and if your lucky enough that it hasnt ruined your fuel pump it should be just the fuel filter needs the dirt blown out of it a really easy job to do good luck

1992 ford f150 Truck shut down at 60mph and now fuel pumps wont

Where does the fuel come from that leaks out when running? If you have dual fuel tanks and one tank is overflowing you will need to check the fuel tank switch in the dash. Ford had a problem with these that caused the fuel pump from one tank to pump fuel to the other tank and cause it to overflow. If this is the case the tank switch is probably defective.
They can get very hot and melt the wires into the back of the switch. Check the switch first.

1990 f150 fule pump wont shut off when truck is shut off

Check the power supply going into the fuel pump relay. If it is still hot when the ignition is off then your ignition switch is probably the problem.
