I would suggest checking the fuses to see if an accessory fuse has burned. The box with the fuses is under the dash on the driver's side, but there is a chance this system's fuse could be in the fuse box under the hood by the battery.

If a relay has gone bad, that is going to be difficult to track down without a multimeter. If something simple like a wire has been broken or cut, or a connection is loose is the problem, you may be able to spot it. Taking the dash off is a lot of work, so try to eliminate all other possibilities first. Check, recheck and triple-check all the easy stuff before you move on to the hard.
Sorry, it is NOT easy to diagnose DC electrical problems without being there.

I already looked... nothing is burnt out. I was thinking I might have to tear the dashboard off (the center where the speedometer is) and check wires. Do you think that might be a waste of time or could it possibly help?
