Fuel pressures usually run between 45 to 60 psi if suspect fuel pressure check the regulator on fuel rail

Testimonial: "Thanks James I did check that and it was questionable so I replaced it I also replaced the MAF sensor and ignition switch , it still stalls and acts like it's got a dirty fuel filter which I just replaced aiso."

Try taking the vacuum hose off the regulator and see if its leaking there. If not, the only way to isolate it woud be to block or pinch closed the fuel line.

SOURCE: 05 Impala missfire code 301 have changed

check intake for vaccum leaks, the gasket also and egr valve, thats alot of parts to have replaced without diagnosing first, if there are no fuel leaks and you said all injectors were replaced then you have a defective fuel pump, also these engines had misfire problem because of dirty injector but you replaced them so count that out. good luck.

Is it ok for my boost gauge to run a 3 to5 goin down the highway 05 impala ss

boost pressure is related to exhaust temperature . so if you are not under load then the accelerator position will only allow the fuel that is required and so the boost will be reacting accordingly. If you suddenly accelerate and the boost goes up then the turbo is doing the job. If it stays the same then look for boost leaks in hoses and air cooler. waste gate settings or faulty turbo.

What is p0641 code on 05 impala

DTC P0641 The powertrain control module (PCM) provides a 5-volt reference to the following sensors:

The throttle position (TP) sensor 1
The accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 2
The engine cooling fan speed sensor
The AC pressure sensor
The fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor
The oil pressure sensor (OPS)
The PCM monitors voltage on the 5-volt reference circuit. If the voltage is higher or lower than required, DTC P0641 will set.

You could have a fuel delivery problem. I would recommend to start by checking fuel pressure. Fuel injected cars are very fuel pressure sensitive. Fuel pressure is very important and must be within specifications! But if the pressure is low, it does not mean the pump is bad. A plugged fuel filter, a pinched line, and low voltage at the pump can contribute to low fuel pressure. All three must be check before replacing the pump! You can get a fuel pressure gage at a local auto parts store for cheap. Fuel pressure testing is frequently overlooked but it is one of the common causes of poor performance. The test procedure must include testing that will insure normal fuel pressure under all operating conditions. Key Factors 1. Fuel demands are low at idle. 2. Wide open throttle at high engine revs uses the most fuel. 3. Fuel pressure must be reduced when manifold vacuum is high. Vacuum pulls fuel out of the injector causing it to deliver too much fuel if the pressure remains high. Manifold vacuum is used to open the pressure regulator at a lower pressure when vacuum is high. A good way to check your fuel pump is to run an amp test on the fuel pump while it is running or while battery voltage is being applied ot it (turning the key on, cranking your vehicle or even when your engine is running. The amount of amps your fuel pump will pull will depend on how much fuel pressure your fuel pump should supply to your fuel rail. A good rule of rule of thumb for this test is as follows: 14 to 15 psi 3 to 4 amps 30 to 45 psi 4 to 7 amps 45 to 50 psi 7 to 8 amps 50 to 70 psi 8 to 12 amps

05 chevy impala will crank over but will not start, changed the fuel filter it was extremely dirty the fuel pump is working.

First check for spark at any of the sparkplugs if you have spark then check your fuel pressure.Just because its working does'nt mean it has enough pressure for it to run.It may be a weak pump.
