That is unfortunate. There is nothing you can do to fix this if the radio works and the cd player does not. It usually means there is a problem internally with the player, it could be the carriage for the diode is stuck, the diode is bad etc. You have to get another radio or you have to have that one serviced.

I had this say problem with my 2000 solara. Here is the fix, remove one of the car battery terminals for a couple of mins (3-4mins). The reattach the battery terminal back. This would make your cd player and car clock reset. once you start your car you should be able to eject the cds. You'll just need to reprogram all your preset radio station. Hope it helps

It 's the unit. bring it to a repair facility( fairly easy to remove) and have them do the repair . Its a lot cheaper than buying a new unit. If you decide to do this let me know and I'll tell you how to remove and install the unit.

If your CD's are not immaculate or tired copied / PC burned and non original you can get an error in reading. If the CD eventually plays after multipal enrties try a lazer cleaning disc . Good Luck

Most cd players have a small pin hole on the face of the player, get a paper clip and push
it in the pin hole, and your cd will eject. good luck!
