Check the coolant temp sensor. This should cause the fan to come on. Connector could have corrosion causing a false signal.

Do you mean the radiator fan will not come on? Make sure the fan has a good power source and a good ground. Also make sure that the fan blade spins freely. You may have shorted the feed wire and blown a fuse.

SOURCE: 1966 mustang engine cranks but wont start

Guide to starting a dead horse!
1- Spray a little starter fluid down the carbuerator. If it tries to fire, your timing and ignition is probably OK. This could indicate a carb or fuel pump problem.
2- If it doesn't fire, check out the points, condenser, coil, distributor cap and rotor. Look for condensation inside the cap. Check that the high tension wire from the coil to distributor is in good shape and not touching the engine or any brackets, etc.
3- Verify that your timing is correct. You may have a timing train problem (Worn or broken).
4- The distributor may have come loose and changed positions. Check for proper timing.
5- It may be a compression problem. If it has set long enough for the oil that coats the cylinder walls to drain down, you won't have enough compression to allow firing. Check your compression and if this seems to be the case, remove the spark plugs and squirt a little Marvel Mystery oil, or similar light weight oil into each cylinder. When it starts, it will smoke for a few minutes, but that will go away.
Hope this helps and if not, get back to me.
Have a super day!
Ron

My Nissan Almera keeps cutting out completely whilst driving?

run the fault codes and look for cam/crank position sensors.
faulty or loose connections may cause this fault. If you have more than 1 key in the ignition then it has been known that the mass of swinging keys will switch off the ignition
(current recall on all GMC ignition switches for just this reason)

Nissan Almera wont start with code P0345

Code 345 means the cam sensor on bank two is not sending the correct signal to the engine computer. So no spark.
If you have replaced the sensor, the problem could be the cam or the wiring from the sensor to the computer.

My almera 1.6 2004 model coils not recieving power.

ok, i will try and help you as much as i can. first you should be getting 12 volts a pulse and a ground( negative ). if you're getting the 12 volts and the grounds but no pulse the the car has 2 sensors, one is the cam and the other is the crank. those sensors provide pulse to one for the injectors and the crank is for the coil packs. you can test for pulse by using a noid light or the normal test light. just connect the test light to 12 volts terminal and have someone crank over the engine. if you don't get a low flickering light then you neeed to change the sensor

Resetting after installing a radiator on nissan almera

Not sure on the Almera, but some vehicles need the light to be re-set with a scanner, it has stored the radiator fault in it's memory, trip to a garage I'm afraid.

THE TOYOTA GARAGE SAY THAT I NEED TWO OIL SEALS IN THE FRONT OF MY CRANK FOR A TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 2001 4.2 D. I HAVE GOT A OIL LEAK ON THE BACK OF THE CRANK PULLEY. 2 . WHAT CAN HAPPEN IF YOU DRIVE...

The damper pulley, on the end of the crank is what drives the belts for pretty much everything else. the engine will overheat, the alternator wont charge, the power steering wont work, the air con wont work,
the back of the pulley has a machined surface that runs inside the front crank seal.
Is there a reason not to believe the toyota mechanic, or did it seem expensive?
The front damper pulley (harmonic balancer) can be $100 or more plus the seal and I believe the radiator needs to come out to complete the job
