I doubt it had anything to do with jumping the car. When the doors are shut, does the dash show a door open? If it does then one of the door switches is bad.

It is a 133mm rectifier with a motorcraft, The serpentine belt is better removed from the bottom. Also keep a bucket on hand to recover the oil from the transmission.

SOURCE: 2009 ford focus dome light stays on

Are you sure that the thumb wheel switch beside the headlamp switch is not turned all the way up until it clicks?
If it is staying on for 10 minutes this means that the smart junction box is seeing a demand for the interior lights from something like a door ajar switch or the thumb wheel. If it sees that the igntion is in the off position it will turn the lights off after 10 minutes to conserve battery power.
Normal operation is:
The interior lighting delay feature provides temporary illumination of the courtesy lamps after the doors are opened and then closed. The interior lighting delay feature keeps the courtesy lamps on for a period of 25 seconds after all the doors are closed. If during the 25-second delay time the SJB detects that the ignition has been switched out of off, or if the vehicle is locked using the RKE, the courtesy lamp illumination is discontinued

SOURCE: 2004 Ford Explorer ABS light on constantly and

I just had the same exact problem. The ABS light was on constanly, and the 4x4 high light flashes about 8 times, turns off for about 2-5 minutes, then flashes again for another 8 times and keeps repeating. In addition, I was also hearing and feeling a grinding and clunking noise going in reverse, and the steering wheel was difficult to turn. I changed a bad hub assembly on the front driver side and everything went away...fixed! I wouldn't let anybody tell me that the ABS system and the 4x4 system are not linked together. In fact, my local Ford service department assured me that I had two separate issues. Well, I only had one issue and it was a bad ABS sensor. I hope my exprience helps you.

Installed new battery in my 2005 explorer; now warning lights, cabin lights, and door locks are acting irratically.

how long was the battery out of the vehicle? some vehicles require reprogramming if the battery power is off the vehicle for a period of time. Might want to check with a parts man at your dealership. They sometimes give you free information. they know their fords because they sometimes they sell a lot of the same parts.

04 EXPLORER DOME LIGHT STAYS ON, DOOR ADJAR LIGHT ON, DOOR JAMB SWITCHES WORKING PROPERLY.

At least one of your door ajar switches are sticking. Try spraying rust penetrant into the latches and open and close the doors several times. If they still stay on you will have to locate which latch it is by removing the door panels and disconnecting the switches.

I have 2004 ford explorer when i switch off the car and i remove the key the lights inside and under the extern mirors get on and still more than 15 minutes

You need a new headlight switch modual. The timmer in it has quit and it can't be repaired. If you vehicle has an override button the turn it on ond then turn the key on and off and the lights should go out. Then just use the switch for dome lights in the headlight switch to turn them on and off manually until you get the light switch replaced.
