I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer there is a strange clicking noise in the back passenger side panel of my third row seat when I pull out one of the 40 amp fuses in the fuse box underneath the hood it stops it's an ignition fuse I have replaced the 125 Mega fuse several times and it continues to short out any helpful answers or tips would be incredibly grateful my gauges go crazy and dropped to nothing it says on my battery gauge that it's not charging that led me to believe that either the battery was bad or the alternator was bad I tested both and found that they were both fine my radio and heating / AC stops working from time to time and when that happens the clicking noise starts and continues no way to stop it unless I pull the fuse please somebody help me

Hi Lisa, I take it that you have the long wheel base version. The clicking you're hearing is an actuator for the HVAC. These can be blown by a disconnected battery. With an intermitent problem like this, check your battery connections, make sure they're good and tight. Gauges going whacko, is probably your ignition switch, or ground. Check the ground on the transmission hump on passenger side. 1 screw to pull the carpet back, it will be right under there. This ground handles a lot of things.

Strange intermittent problems like this can be caused by a faulty ground in the vehicle - I would check all the ground straps for loose or corroded connections. Looking at trouble codes in the vehicle using a code reader may also shed some light on this.

Behind the dash is what they call a constant voltage regulator. It controls the guages. It's small and located behind the dash near speedo.

SOURCE: 2004 chevy trailblazer ext. Clicking noise coming

Did you recently replace or disconnect the battery? Common problem is for the airflow actuators to go out and make that clicking sound in the rear when the battery is changed or disconnected.

Both sides have their own modules. They are behind the panels right beside the middle seats. Remove the back seats (if you have third row seating) Pull the panel (they pop off). Either replace the module or disconnect it and manually open and close the side door.

Clicking comeing inside near passanger rear turn signal

That is one of the actuators in the rear HVAC unit. Sometimes the door that they drive gets stuck or the actuator itself goes bad. In the picture below #3 & #33 are the two actuators. Replacement of #3 is not an easy job.

I have TrailBlazer 2006 ls , I want to fold the third row seats , but am unable to fold it , is it possible, if so please guide me as soon as possible. thanks Regards.

The third row seats do fold flat. If you have the owners manual, it will have instructions on how to fold the seats. If you don't have a manual, drop by your nearest Chevy dealer and I'm sure they would be glad to show you how to fold the seat.

How do you remove the rear seat out of a 2001 Ford Excursion

If you are talking about the third row seat, the first step is to fold the seat down. Pull the lever behind the passenger side of the third row seat and fold the seat down. Then, from the cargo area, raise the bar located directly behind the third row seat and lift the seat forward. The seat should now be detached from the car and can be removed. When you reinstall the seat, be sure to secure the seat properly so passengers do not get injured in a sudden vehicle maneuver. This should help you to fix your problem. 2004 TrailBlazer: seat belt of passenger side can not pull out in tr...

I'm having the same problem. I unbolted the nut at the bottom of the seat and it allowed it to work again ... for the time being. I'm attempting to remove the 'assembly' and perhaps find a broken part, but at the present time, I can't tell how to get it out of the seat-back. The dealer says parts are not available for it, so I'm trying to locate a used one in a junk yard or buy one from an after-market supplier. [email protected]
