Brake light switch failure it's still in the applied mode or the inside contacts are activated because the plunger on the switch is still in you possibly could spray it with wd 40 to lube it but I think the switch is done it's 14-15 years old now from door sticker date so it's better to just change it ok

Check where the brake pedal arm contacts the brake switch. Some vehicles have a plastic plug that contacts the switch when you release the pedal. Sometimes these fall out and brake lights stay on all the time.

You have a bad sensor at one of the tires that need replacing that operates ABS and traction control. If you take it in to a shop it will run $130 but they can find which sensor is causing the problem. But if you do it you might have to replace all 4 sensors to make sure you got the right one. Every hard to diagnoses. Its better for the shop cause they can get electrical read outs for each sensor.

the plastic round stopper most probably broke that is were the stoplight switch sits when not depressed easy fix find a washer small enough to block the hole were the original plastic stopper was making sure the washer aligns to the brake light switch and secure washer w/ zipties hope this helps.
