Fuel gage for my vw polo 9 is not working, I took it to VW clinic and they confirmed that I might need to replace the cluster. Is that at possible?

Hi,
It depends how capable you are..
It might actually be a problem with the sender unit inside the fuel tank.
It might be the gauge on the cluster,
but it also might be the voltage regulator which will be on the back of the instrument cluster.
Any of these parts could potentially be replaced with a new or recycled part, & will be much, much less than the price of a brand new instrument cluster from VW....... plus fitting.!
Best of luck

VW 1.6 2002 MODEL CLASSIC POLO OIL LIGHT PROBLEM

Either you have a faulty oil pressure switch or the pick up screen of the oil pump is clogged. I would change the switch first as it's 10 bucks not expensive then go on from there

Just recently had an oil change and service and now my VW Polo 2001 indicated "Service Inspection". What does it mean?

As in, you recieved a lanp on the dashboard that says "service inspection?" If this is the case, it's likely corresponding to a major service interval, such as 15,000 or 30,000 miles. I honestly do not know the reset proceedure for that lamp, but if you have had all major systems checked recently (brakes, tires, belts, hoses, fluid changes/checks) I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's telling you to see your authorized dealer for a glorified oil change. the Stick

Which engine oil? vw polo 51 reg

The VW specs for oil is way over-hyped.

Use a Brand Name Full Synthetic 10W40 oil and you'll be OK.

Car requesting oil even after being filled up.

This message does not mean the engine is low on oil, it means the oil change is due. if you have added oil, it may mean it is now overfilled. This could cause as much damage as low oil, VW have a system on the vehicle that tells you when the vehicle requires servicing, the next message should be inspection 1. these are the VW service schedules. They are worked out on mileage and the way the vehicle is driven. Take the vehicle to your local decent repair shop and get the oil and filter replaced, and remind them to reset the service indicator. After this all will be well.

VW POLO 1.6 2002 classic

I have already a solution to my problem. Remember, when I posted, that my 1997 VW Polo Classic, that it won't start even it has sparks coming from the "spark plugs" and the timing was set already. Yesterday, My mechanic was puzzled, why the intake manifold has a very low pressure. Just this morning when he opened. It was clogged with "tartar" like material. It includes the valve & piston. Therefore, it is impossible to have combustion. Because, it lacks the fuel & air even how much sparks is present. I hope this could help to VW cars owners having the same trouble.

1992 VW Polo 1.3L Coupe: warning light mystery

Bought a very reputable diy service manual for the vehicle, and that plus a bit of thought and nous gave me the cure: no intrinsic problem other than loose relay connections. Went round with the wiring diagrams as guide checking all electrical connections in tight and relays fuses etc all good. Switched on and no problem any more.

By the way, vehicle is 1992 VW Polo - not Fox (which in UK is a variant of the Polo)
