Here's a link on how to do the passenger side window. The drivers side would be very similar.

SOURCE: window stuck down on 1994 ford explorer

while holding the switch in the up position, bang on the middle part of the door panel, if the motor is stuck then this will usually unstick it. but if motor is running then you will need a new window regulator.

Solenoid for 2004 ford explorer where is it located

it should be near the battery on the drivers side fender..easiest thing to do is find the positive cable (big one) and follow it to the solenoid..in some models it may actually be on the starter but most fords came with a separate solenoid on the fender..

2004 ford explorer drivers side power windows dont work

Most likely is the window's electric motor.
Ford is one of the companies that is experiencing many electric window motor failures.
There are several other cars with the same problem.

2002 Ford Explorer, rear driver side door

Wil it work at the door switch or not at either switch? If not make sure you have power and ground to the motor in up and down positions. if so suspect the motor. Also the cable operated regulators break and will not let the window go up or down

2004 ford mustang

this may sound stupid but its only a temporary fix. take the panel off the door and tap the window motor with a small hammer. do all the other windows work? does it make any sound when you hit the button? you probably end up having to replace the window motor.
