When googling... don't be so specific.
Just try something like this...

gmc/ Chevy wiring 2003. Most sites will have breakdowns...ie.. lights...stereos.. speakers..etc. most years are close or compatible as well. Like 2000- 2005 will be almost identical.

If you have added an trailer light connector to plug trailers with check it for corrosion. It can also be in your turn switch at the steering collum.

Testimonial: "No added trailer light connector. It is a rust bucket that just needs to last a little while longer. Wherever the issue is it keeps blowing the under dash fuse. It also occurred for the first time during a heavy rain day. I figured the short would be in the wiring under the hood. Thx U"

Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

1992 van. Why does turn signal fuse keep blowing?

The SHORT answer is you have a short circuit! Does it blow only when you use the left or the right, or both? Try changing the flasher, it's under the dash, listen for the clicking sound, it will lead you right to it. It is a small cylinder, pull and it will pop out, they are cheap. If that doesn't help...it can be the switch on the column, any of the sockets for the bulbs, or any of the wires in between. You will have to trace it down. Do NOT try putting a higher amp fuse in, that will cause damage and maybe a fire! Inspect all the components carefully, look for damaged wires, or burned looking bulb sockets. Do all the bulbs work? It could be as simple as a burned out bulb that is internally shorted!

Left turn signal and left Hazard light blow fuse

Probably a bad bulb, or a short in the wiring. Try a new bulb, if that does not work, trace the wiring looking for any chafing against metal.

Tail lights, turn signal and hazard lights, dsh lights not working. when i change the fuse it blows

If the FUSE blows then it is confirmed that the circuit is SHORTED and so the heavy current drain make the fuse melt off.
So it is important that the circuit is traced to find the short. So remove the bulbs of the light circuits and check the holders, check the wiring harness, see for damage on the sections where the harness passes through. Now without the bulbs replace the fuse. If the fuse blows then the harness can be short to this circuit sections.

Turn signal dosent work

you need to check to see which bulbs don`t work both front and back lights for the signal on the side it`s not working, you don`t say if any signals work or not if no signals work then you need to check the fuses under the dash on the driver`s side.now if it`s just one side then check the lights as mentioned above.if one isn`t then replace the bulb.if neither bulb is working then it sounds like the signal flasher is not working.turn on the hazard flashers and check the lights front and back.if all bulbs work then leave the hazards on and look under the dash for the flasher that is making the noise, this will show what the signal flasher will look like, then find the signal flasher on the fuse panel under the dash it should be located on the fuse panel.and replace

No brake lights, turn signals, or 4-ways.

Did you actually check the bulbs? I believe your brake lights, signal lights, hazards all use the same bulb for each side.

Your brake lights may be your brake switch just above your brake pedal.
The signals could be your electronic flasher module (EFM) located under the dash near the steering column.
Your hazards may be affected by the EFM, but not likely and the switch for your hazards may be faulty

Haz flashers wont work but blinkers do

There are 2 seperate flashers 1 for turn signals and 1 for hazard. The hazard flasher is located in the convenance center the turn flasher in the fuse box. Also seperate fuse's for each. One battery circuit for hazard Ignition for turn signals.Check fuse for hazard,if good try swapping in the turn signal flasher and see if hazards work. They use the same flasher unit.

Turn signal

The wire under the hazard button has probably come loose. Most GMC vehicles this year range were made with a closed circuit wiring between the flashers, hazard lights, and rear defrost. Over time the wiring under the hazard button has been known to loosen. This causes the whole system to lose function. If pop out the hazard button on you center console you should be able to tighten that wire back on and the system should work again.
The same thing happened to me when I put in a new radio. I bumped the wires off and my blinkers, rear defrost, and hazard lights went out. I replaced the fuses and the flasher relay but nothing. Then I asked a mechanic and he told me what I just told you.
Hope it helps!

1998 chevy truck tail light an panel light popin fuse,s i checked all wiring in rear no damage to wiring bought an change 3 way bulb holder. still same prob, don,t no were to go next Keith

Somtimes the bulbs get a dead short in them even though they look OK. Install new bulbs or remove all bulbs on this circuit and reinstall one at a time to see if fuse pops. I had this problem with signal lights on 95 chevy 1500 and turned out the back up bulbs were on the same circuit. Bad back up bulb so once truck was in reverse it blew the fuse and then the signals did not work. Cheap enough to be worth a shot.
