SOURCE: electric power steering quit is there a fuse
The Chevy Equinox has an 80 Amp mega fuse that tends to fail and cause all sort of power steering and Stabilitrak issues. Before I messed with the belts or power steering pumps, I would check the fuse first.
SOURCE: is 2010 equinox trailer wiring the same as a2009
No the wiring system changed to a 2-wire system. You actually wouldn't need a specific harness. You could purchase a 4-flat connecter (at least 60" long) and directly splice it in behind your tail lights. The 4-flat will have 4 colors
Yellow-Left turn/Stop
Green- Right turn/Stop
Brown-Running Lights
White-Ground
The Equinox wiring colors are quite similar. I will list the 4-flat color first-and then the Equinox color.
Driver side behind the taillight.
Yellow-Yellow/Black
Brown-Brown
White-Black
Passenger Side
Green-Green/Black
SOURCE: Hello, Trying to find the DRL
If you have one it's under the dash to the left side of the steering column. I don't know if chevy has done it yet, but ford removed the module and stuck the electronics in the instrument panel

The Body Control module (BCM) detects that the traction control switch has been pressed (signal circuit is low). The Body Control module (BCM) sends a serial data message to the EBCM in order to disable traction control. The IPC receives a serial data message from the EBCM requesting illumination. The BCM sends a serial data message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified an qualified repair shop ,that has the diagnostic tool to fix this problem .
