SOURCE: Heater Control Valve 2000 Taurus SE

Taurus doesn't have what is called a heater control valve, are you reffering to the remote climate control module, the one that the vacuum lines hook to? If so it is behind the glove box. Just open the glove box and press the 2 clips on the sides so it opens all the way up and it will be located right behind this.

SOURCE: location of the camshaft sensor on a 2000 chevy astro van

The sensor is in the distributor you can get it out with out pulling the distributor but its tight and has to be perfect .... pull the cap off and then the button youll see a sensor under a metal cup looking thing with a wire harness coming out of it i believe you need torks bits for the whole job if you go to any parts store and buy one then pull the cap this will make more sense.
Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do I remove the dashboard from my 2000 Chevy Astro Van?

Paul is right you can go to radio shack or autozone schucks or any parts store and ask for the removal tool it cost $20.00 tops. Trust me you don't want to undo the dash as the air bag could detonate if you shorted the two wires that can control it and it could kill you.

Testimonial: "Thank you! I didn't even think about the safety aspect of removing the dash. Better leave this to the pros!"

SOURCE: chevy astro van heater blowes only cold air

the problem is probably the heater core, it can become clogged with dribris. this stops heat from the engine getting to it and then no heat.

SOURCE: Where is the egr valve located on a 2003 chevy 4.3

The EGR Valve is located on the front of the Engine under the frest air tube. It is at a 45' angle. When checking look for lodged carbon chunks. I recommend using a gesket with a screen built in. It is located infront of the Thermostat housing.

I have 2000 astro van and I'm not getting heat, I changed thermo stat and flushed heater core. Still no heat, whats the next step?

Feel your heater hoses. If both are hot, the core is circulating. If only one is hot-poor or no circulation of the core.
If the heater core is circulating, the temperature blend door may not be working to let blower air pass across the heater core, and into the vents. If vacuum operated, watch the vacuum valves as you move heater controls-you may spot the problem. Check that the vacuum line from the engine to the control switch is working and still connected. If not operated by vacuum, the controls may have cables to the heater case or may be electrically operated. You'll just have to scope it out. Good luck.

2004 chevy 3500 van has rear heater and it works fine the front heat blows cold replaced thermostat and hot water shut off valve is there a module that opens a door for the heat if so where is at

I know on an astro van there is a heater valve under the hood on the passenger side. check the cables or vaccum lines going to the heater valve under the hood. If there is a module it will be mounted to the heater suit case under the right side of the dash
