2012 Denali. Why does air conditioner only blow hot air?

It means look at the instrument cluster gauges , fuel is low , temp is hot etc.... Air bag light isn't a gauge .

The A/C is operated by the BCM and this is a computer behind the dash.

Need to check your coolant level under the hood. If it is good suspect water pump.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

Hi Jeff. I had the same problem, along with others on my 03 Denali. Along with not blowing hot air from the rear heating system, I had hot air blowing out of the passenger side and cold air out of the drivers' side vents. My battery would go low and had the same smell. I took my Denali in to the dealer and they found it was a bad Fan Control Module. They replace it and everything worked well after. It cost me $293 for parts and labor. Hope this helps.

I am having similiar problems with my 06 Denali. Mine does the same thing but also does not blow hot air when in idle.

There is a door actuator motor that is not working,the dash will have to be removed to repair this problem.

SOUND LIKE AIR DOOR STUCK CLOSE OR ELECTRIC MOTOR ACTUTATOR TO AIR DOOR NOT WORKING.
