No, there were multiple changes and interchanges between 94 and 99. You may be able to locate a used one near you by using car-part.com

Check fuel pressure,fuel pump maybe on the way out.

Try changing the fuel lines, if they are cloged from debris that could be the cause.

sounds like an electrical issue either not getting power to it or a bad ground you checked all the connections and fuses 1 st ? the O B C shouldn't have been the issue did you check to ensure the fuel pump cutoff switch had not engaged during installation of something find the cable and pull it usually in the trunk on the passengers side visible or behind the cloth panel trim usually has a yellow handle pull that to release the cut out feature

The rod connects the ignition cylinder to the starter/ ignition switch on the bottom of the column.

4.3L or 2.2L?

I have this problem on my 95 S10 blazer and found the switch on the dash was the problem.
