You can't, it is run by the ECM. Just test the fuse and the fuel relay.

no country.
we can never answer that, nor v6 sizes, displacement.

some cars before 2006 do not OBD2 PCM /ECM engine brains.
so can not be scanned easy.
on the old cars, its jumper wire and CEL lamp flashing to get DTC error codes. the CEL lamp didnt lie. it has errors.
is this UK or Australia. we can guess here, you must say or its just

If you mean its the "service" indicator its possible the exhaust sensor is telling the engine it is running incorrectly, fuel mixture wise. This is usually carried out by a Lambda unit in the headers. It may be rectified by an engine service but get someone to plug in a fault reader to get a better idea.

Its usually in the drivers handbook. Probably around 2/3rds the vehicle weight with a braked trailer. Call a local towbar fitter who may have an all makes reference book.

I had the same problem with my VZ holden couldn't solve the problem said it was the o2 sensor turned out they have had a big problem with the fuel solenoid got it replaced and have not had a problem since had to wait for a part to come from overseas they had none left in stock. The car used to not start after running and start shuddering with the check powertrain warning.

We do not have vehicle service manuals they are copyrighted and not free to download or share online.
