If so make sure that timing gear marks are aligned as required

SOURCE: black smokes & floods at times while driving

this is most often caused by a defective engine wiring harness, it gets breaks in the wire inside the wires insulator, very hard to track down, bend the harness where it goes to the engine, see if u Can make it act up.

SOURCE: toyota vits 2005 shaking engine

Very possibly you have a bad motor mount. Is the engine missing or running smooth but shaky? If it is missing, then it may be plugs, wires, or injectors, if runs fine but shaky, then you may have a bad motor mount.

SOURCE: replacing automotive timing chain kit

no purchase a mechanical manual from your auto parts dealer. they are now specialized to almost every car. if its a side mount engine you will more than likely have to take the tire offf and the wheel well. to give yourself enough rum to play in and see the timing marks on the crank gear and cam gear for proper alignment for the new install. F.Y.I. It helps if you get them into the proper alignment before you remove the old one by placing the crank shaft bolt back in after you remove the cover and turning it with a socket wrench until they are close to the picture in the book. there may also be a slack adjuster behind the cover. Be careful and do it by the book and make sure your replace any and all gaskets you remove. NEVER reuse a gasket. As a matter of fact when you purchase the timing gear and chain set. Purchase what they call a Timing chain change out gasket set. It will have every gasket you'll need to replace. Good Luck.

TOYOTA TAZZ KICK BACK...

It sounds like it is loosing spark somewhere on the ignition circuit. e.g HT leads, distributor cap, one or more spark plugs faulty. The above usually happens when the engine is taking more load than usual, like going up a hill and the r.p.m at about 1500 - 3000.Try it again in a lower gear 1st or 2nd with the motor r.p.m high, about 5000 revolutions per minute.

1995 Toyota Camry fuel pump, Engine turns over but doesn't start

Wel to start with ,,remove the fuel feed pipe tp carby or injector rail to find if you have fuel pressure there,, if ok then go to your coil check for feed to pos side and then check No 1 plug (but must be pluged in and good earth on engine) if ok then the problem must be in the timing or still in fuel system,

Corolla kicks/jolts when shifting gears.

I am trying to understand your problem. Check engine mounts. Have a driver in the car, hood open. Start car, foot on brakes, shift from park to reverse and back again. Shift through all gears, look for unusual engine movements around engine mounts area. Left foot on brakes, press gas in drive and reverse;watch for excessive engine movements. Be careful as you perform these steps. You may also want to check drive axles. Keep me updated.
