SOURCE: where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 nissan

on these models, its under the hood to the left of the brake fluid resevoir. it has 2 hoses on it which are your fuel lines it is a little canister type thing, make sure you relieve your fuel pressure before you attempt to remove those lines or youll get a face full of gas.

SOURCE: where is the fuel filter located

It is just forward of the passenger side rear wheel. It is connected to three lines with quick disconnect fittings. You don't need any special tools to remove them, just push in the flat buttons on either side of the connectors. When you put the lines back on, just push them on firmly, and then check to see if they are all the way on by pulling them as if to remove them again.

The best thing to do is go down to your local automotive store and buy a repair manual for your car. It will take you through the process better then what can be explained here and it has pictures to help you as well. I have a 97 GS and the book has been invaluable.

HI. The fuel filter is located in the engine compartment, mounted to the firewall. Extraction will be easier if the air inlet hose and upper air cleaner housing is removed from the vehicle. This will expose the filter and allow for a better extracting experience.

Replace Fuel Filter

Just unbolt it on top and bottom and replace (remember to use two wrenches so that you don't break the hard fuel line or the mounting bracket).
The filter is located directly beneath the windshield washer fluid resivior. You will have to remove the washer fluid resivior and possibly the brake fluid resivior as well as they both get in the way.

Disconnect the filter on a surface were it's OK to spill gas on the ground, when you take the hose of it will pour out it's contents.
