Then I hear a rattling noise when accelerating and turning off with whining noise when turn off
Starting noise could be:
1- timing chain is not tide ( the tensioner not doing the right job)
2-the starter sticking on with flywheel all the time
3- engine have low oil
whining noise after turn off could be :
1-vacuum leak 2- Alternator pulley is bad

Sir I can help you with this, I have all the service manuals on your truck and will provide anything you need, but this honestly sounds like a bad wire connection or ground on a primary battery cable. I would trace all my battery cables and clean every connection even the engine ground cable and the one at your starter. that sounds like what we call "spark knock" that occurs when u accellerate quickly, but yes it will go away in a few seconds when the computer detects this condition. with the economy the way it is it will be more expensive, but try running higher octane gasoline in it, should cure this condition. hope that helped you!!

First thing i would try...... ISOHEET, Red bottle..... allows water to be mixed into the fuel and be burnt out of the tank.
get a good qaulity fuel injection cleaner, if you can locate the brand MALCO, i found it quite succesful..... and go with a full tank of premium fuel such as ammoco or shell......do not use yellow bottle of heet
