I need to get into the door panel on my 2012 Lincoln mkz. I'm trying to get in to look at the window regulator to see if it is broken. My window fell of the track or something and I'm trying to see what it is that needs fixed before I take it in and spend money I don't have right now. I can get the main panel off but after that comes off there's another panel that prevents me from accessing my window. I've tried looking around online for instructions nut have had no luck.

The window regulator is what causes the plastic clip to break. I had the same problem. I was able to find a new clip at advanve auto parts, and had to purchase a regulator which includes the motor from ebay. There were many diffrent options out there. Total cost was about $60.

We bought the rear window regulator repair kit. Searched the internet for directions for removal. took it out did the repair. But forgot to hook up a small cable from the slideing door just next to the flip door. Guess what. When the top came up it broke and I am sick about it. If anybody needs more pictures you are welcome to email me [email protected]

you'll need to remove your door panel (screws are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door) and pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

LeSabre window regulator cable is kinked...? Can the cable be changed out or unkinked without buying a new window regulator?
