The starex is running perfect but will sometimes stops when over 50 km/hr with the check engine light illuminated.it will start again after waiting for a few minutes but will again stops and will restart after a few minutes and then stops again .
I take help from online websites that have this service like helping in repair some like reliable-store have instant help.. others are a bit slow which I don't prefer... rest is up to u.. U can also get free manuals

Have someone check the idle sensor. I had to have mine replaced along with another that I don't remember which one is was.

you said you cleaned the grounds did you also clean the positive side of the battery ? The starter is ok because you said that when you jump it it starts up fine .. check your battery posts again .. thanks Jerry holler if you need more help

If you live in the US, take it to qany Auto Zone store and thy will read the codes off for you, I would suspect any right thinking competitor would do the same, check if you don't have one near by.
