SOURCE: Mazda mpv O2 sensor wires?

Put some penetrating oil on them and let it soak overnight. This will break up the rust and other build up. Make sure that it is penetrating oil, you can get it at any automotive store.

03 3.0L Mazda 6 barometric pressure sensor location

Hi Anonymous, L3 engine 2.3L or
(Mazdaspeed 6)
3.0 L Duratec 30 V6????????????
post the VIN and then we see what is there.
got the TURBO with

map sensor is covered i the service manual for sure and the simple test.
the mostly never fail but vacuum to it can
so we clean it.
the engine parts locator for
(Mazdaspeed 6)3.0 L Duratec 30 V6
engine shows no such MAP sensor.
there is and egr boost baro sensor
why not do your own hunts in the service manualthe 3.0 liter uses MAF sensor, mass air flow to calculate fuel rates.
why not post a problem first.
like engine power low, or what ever it is
so the helper can be on the same page
btw
the 2.3L (L3 engine code) for sure has MAP sensor.
just incase it is L3 engine and not larger V6
here is (id 10) the map 2.3L only 4 cyl. not V6
v6 has none. (egr yes) egr baro is for egr testing only OBD2 .

Can i fit an L3 engine type on Mazda Axela which has an LF engine type. The L3 doesn't have the VVT sensor on the top cover but the LF has, what does it mean?

You would need a lot of stuff. I will not say that it is impossible, but you need the complete engine, harness, PCM, and maybe the BCM. I think you will meet a lot of unforeseen problems. The BCM is the gateway to the M-MDS diagnostic system and it stores the VIN, so if you need to take it to the Mazda dealer later, like to get the PATS (immobilizer) programmed this will all be important stuff.

If your car is an automatic, I would venture to say its a 4 speed. The ~2009 L3 5 speed automatic cars have a separate TCM, mounted on the transmission that the 4 speed cars do not have.

Trust me, its a lot of work. I have a L3 M/T car that I put a L5 in. It was a lot of customizing, although the engine basically bolted right in. I use the stock pcm, but I had to change intake manifolds and mess around with the timing cover. The LF, without VVT, timing cover is short and the L5 had the wrong crank sensor mounting. I had to plug an oil passage and rig a shutter valve actuator because the sensors were different.

Bought a universal O2 sensor for my 2001 Mazda MPV...part is great but new part has one black wire, one gray, one plain white and one with small writing.. bad OEM part has two black wires, one BLUE and one...

If you are sure that the paper work does not have your combo on it, go to a local parts store that has access to a wiring diagram of your MPV. Use the info on the paper work to identify which wires are ground (usually the 2 white ones are) and then match the remaining two. Often the gray one is the power for the heating element in the sensor. But don't guess at this - it is critical to match the wires properly.
