SOURCE: 2005 honda accord diagnostic codes

you need to connect the car to a fault code reader this will tell you if an abs sensor is faulty and which wheel it is or if it is the abs unit

SOURCE: vsa and abs lights on for 2005 honda crv

Check to make sure that your ABS wheel sensor is bolted firmly to the hub and that the wire that comes from it is plugged in properly. sometimes they look like they are plugged in but are not fully locked in.

How do I fix permanent DTCs 61-1 Modulator-Control unit initial IG low voltage?

Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 51-XX indicates an internal failure of the SRS unit (computer). There isn't much to the diagnosis of this code; the procedure consists of erasing the codes, cycling the ignition switch, and if DTC 51-XX, 52-XX, 53-XX, 54-XX, 55-XX or 58-XX is detected, replace the SRS unit. It's important to note that if the vehicle was in a collision prior to this failure, there are many other components that need to be replaced along with the SRS unit depending on which airbags and/or seat belt buckle tensioners deployed. Regarding VSA DTC 61-01, an OBDII scanner capable of accessing live sensor data should be using to inspect the VSA "BATTERY" parameter ID (PID) and compared to battery voltage read with a digital multimeter. If battery voltage is low for both, the battery and charging system should be inspected. If it's only low for the VSA unit, the VSA unit should be updated with the latest software. If up-to-date, the VSA unit connector should be inspected for loose terminals and power supply circuits checked for high resistance. If OK, the VSA unit should be replaced. Have a 2008 Honda Accord that has the ABS/Vsa/and Brake light on want to know what the issue is

Auto parts stores where I live will check the codes for free.
You can order code readers to check the codes for under 40 dollar, well that is what mine cost.
In the post below one guy disconnected the neg cable from the battery and the code cleared and did not come back.

Vsa,brake, abs linght on and D flashing when I turn on key

You need to have the vehicle scanned for fault codes and then the causes of those codes diagnosed.

You will need to have this car checked out by a professional with the right diagnostic equipment for Hondas. The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)***, brake and ABS warnings may just be due to a failed sensor or sensors but you need to have a proper diagnosis carried out so the causes can be identified and any failed parts replaced.

The flashing D light relates to the auto transmission and may well be a caused by a faulty sensor on the transmission or something else. The correct scanner should throw up any fault codes being generated. In the meantime if your Accord model has the engine bay filler tube and diptstick for the auto transmission , check your fluid level in the auto transmission.

Vsa indicator light stays on after installing wheel bearing

Hello there
First of all, with the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) light showing on the dash (marked VSA) it means that particular system has a problem or the push on/off switch located on the lower left portion of the dashboard and above the drivers left knee, has been pushed, turning that system off.

If you push the VSA button and the dash lamp goes out, then you're all set.
If the lamp remains on, you need to have the system checked by your Honda dealer or an independant shop who is experienced and knowledgable regarding this Honda system.

I hope this information is of assistance to you,

My Honda Element 2008 has a VSA Warning light and

It may be as simple as your oil condition or oil level. If you have poor oil in your engine the VTEC system will not operate properly and when RPMs reach 2800 or so it will buck. If everything checks okay with the oil have the code checked for your check engine light/VSA light.
