Ask google what those codes mean. If you get lucky it might be something you can fix.

Take it to a qualified repair shop , you don't have the diagnostic knowledge or tools to fix this , just because you can read codes doesn't mean you can diagnose an fix it ,

Testimonial: "I just wanted to know what it could be thank you"

P0128 - Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)
Indicates that the thermostat monitor has not achieved the required engine operating temperature within a specified amount of time after starting the engine. Insufficient warm up time.
    Low engine coolant level.

For the other two codes , factory service manual doesn't show them .

How did you read these codes ? Code reader , scan tool ? P2194 is not a code for your vehicle , there mite be another code like P2195 , some code readers will substitute a code for the real one. they can't always be relied on for correctness . The only P2190 code close to that in factory service info. is P2195
P2195 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean
How does the vehicle run ?

Don't google any of the codes . , I did an it'll have you replacing thing's that are not on your vehicle. I have thirty years experience working on fords , Lincolns , Mercury . At the dealer ,so what Arnie Burke said isn't true . Parts stores only want sell you parts ,an most have no clue .

SOURCE: Running Vista system restore 8hrs (not in safe-mode)

I am fairly sure that if you stop the system restore mid stream it  will just resort back to where it was w/o any problems.  Then you can restore in safe mode. If it took that long ,if I were you , i would go and clean the harddrive or run check disk or download hard drive tools from;    seagate.com      and check the hard drive .  Your other option is to use you restore disk and restore the whole thing. If the hard drive is bad you will ending up doing this after you install a new hard drive.

SOURCE: Acer -Video Display Issue

Hi there.
This could be 1 of 2 problems, lets start with the first.
#1 Bad display drivers

Boot the laptop into safe ( i am assuming you know how to do this by your post ) on the computer icon, right click and select manage, a new window will pop up and then select device manager, the list will populate with hardware that installed on the PC, look down the list for display adapters and click on the + sign on the left hand side to open the tree, then right click on the display adapter and select uninstall. Now restart the laptop and let it boot up as normal, if the display drivers were bad it will boot with the screen resolution as large, once you log in it should auto detect the display and install the drivers (you may have give it permission) if this works then that was the problem.

#2 Faulty graphics card.

Take advantage of the manufacturers warranty and send it in for repair as there will be nothing you can do about this kind of hardware failure.

Please post back with the results and more help if needed, good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

SOURCE: etc fail safe mode codes p2104 2107 2110 2111 2112

P2104 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle
P2107 Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor
P2110 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM
P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open
P2112 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed

Seems like Throttle Actuator is the problem.

Good luck on this repair.

I have a 2004 ford explorer xlt. the indicator says engine fail safe mode. what could be the problem?

Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM) is an alternate system strategy in the PCM designed to maintain engine operation if one or more sensor inputs fail.
When a sensor input is perceived to be out-of-limits by the PCM, an alternative strategy is initiated. The PCM substitutes a fixed value and continues to monitor the incorrect sensor input. If the suspect sensor operates within limits, the PCM returns to the normal engine operational strategy.
All FMEM sensors display a sequence error message on the scan tool. The message may or may not be followed by Key On Engine Off or Continuous Memory DTCs when attempting Key On Engine Running Self-Test Mode.
With the fail safe mode was the "Service" wrench light lit or check engine light ?

safe mode means the computer is protecting the engine by shutting down some operations - like half the cylinders.

go to autozone & have codes read (DTC) free.
