SOURCE: car low on GLYCOL . slushed . thawed wont start.

no does not have a low coolant shutdown... if your that low on gas, you probably got some of the moisture out of the tank in the fuel line, and it froze.

2007 gmc 5500 shutdown for no reason.

Reinstall the fuel filter after you clean out the fuel lines. Sounds like something is trapped in the line causing a blockage.

How do you prime the fuel on a case 445 series 3 skid steer?

WELL MOST BOBCATS NOW HAVE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS NOW , SO REPRIMEING FILTER IS EASY YOU JUST KEEP CYCLING KEY (NOT TO START) WHEN FILTER IS PRIMED (NOTED IN PITCH CHANGE OF FUEL PUMP SOUND) THEN YOU CAN LOOSEN ONE INJECTOR SUPPLY PIPE (NOT REMOVE) TILL A HINT OF FUEL DRIPS OUT OF IT , CRANK ENGINE TILL IT TRYS TO START , THEN STOP AND TIGHTEN THE INJECTOR PIPE , THEN START NORMALLY ALLOW TO RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE RESTORING TO SEVERVACE EVERYTHING
CAUTION : AS WITH ANY DIESEL THEY USE VERY HIGH PRESSURE PUMPS TO INJECT FUEL INTO ENGINE ALLWAYS KEEP EXPOSED SKIN AWAY AND SHIELD FACE/EYES WHEN WORKING ON THIS FUEL CAN AN WILL ENTER YOUR SKIN AND CAUSE YOU FATAL PROBLEMS !!!! SEEK MEDICAL HELP RIGHT AWAY IF FUEL ENTERS YOUR BODY !!!

My pipes may be frozen; cabin in the mountaines use infrequently but temperature set on 60 degrees...only a little water tricked out of the faucets upon arrival...turned on heato 70 degrees; is it likely...

in the water in the pipes is frozen it will be frozen all the way back to the tank or your water supply
one way to prevent freezing is to insulate the pipes properly with a quality pipe insulation product

How to thaw frozen pipes

I use a small electric heater, place it underneith your house in the crawspace, close your crawlspace door. Make sure heater isn't in contact with anything, leave some room around your heater so it don't melt or burn anything, and wait for a short while. WARNING: your pipes probably are busted, and when they thaw will spray water everywhere. Try to place your heater where it won't get wet when this major flood happens. WATER + ELECTRICITY = SHOCK OR DEATH. Make sure if water leaks do occur, unplug your heater and don't get around any water untill your heater is disconnected just to be super safe. BE PREPARED TO SHUT OFF WATER TO THE HOUSE.. so i would have the tools ready and the cutoff exposed to make a quick run to turn off your water. If the frozen pipes are underground, you might want to wait till the temp raises above freezing, or as i hate to inform you, dig up the lines and replace them. It isn't a bad idea to use a heater to keep your lines warm during winter, or use some heat wrap. I used to just let my water run a small trickle in all my spigots like bathtup, kitchen faucets, and lavitory faucets anytime i think they may freeze up.. Hope this helps although its posted in wrong catagory.

Run out of gas I put 5gallons of gas in it put it will not start

u should make sure that your fuel level is optimum for the pump to function well. U should prime fuel till the supply pipes are full before u attempt to start it. Simple way to check if ur pump is still working if is the type that operates from within the tank: turn ur key to ON position, if u listen at a position above the tank, u can hear the whining for a few seconds and stops once the pipes are full. OR u can pull out the supply pipe before it feeds the injector and repeat the above priming procedure, fuel must gush out, and of course u need someone to help u perform these. Hopefuly ur tank did not have dirt that might end up clogging the pipes. Good luck.

No fluid coming from washer working perfectely before frost checked tank it was frozen thawed out tank but it is still not working

the pipes from the jets to the pump will have frozen faster than the washer bottle.....you will need to deice them ALL.if then it dont work check the fuse cos you may have blown it rather than burnt out the pump.(i hope.....)
