SOURCE: How can I bypass a anti auto theft system on my 1990 cadillac seville?

I Have A Seville 1990, When That Happen To Me I Got The Inginion
Replaced Problem Solved. What Is Happening Is Your Key Has A Chip And That Chip Is A Resister And When The Valve Is Not Sented To The Computer It Disengages the Fuel Pump And Than Tells You To Wait. Soon All That Will Happen Is You Will Get The Wait 3 Mins And It Will Never Start, A Good Locksmith Can Take Care Of This For You And That Will Save You Some Money. Cause If You Go To The Dealer Ouch They Will Hit You Up. But I Asure This Is How It Will Happen Cause It Is How It Happen To Me
And Sorry There Is No By Passing The Computer

SOURCE: anti theft system

The chip is in the key. Either the key has lost it's program or the transceiver is not recognising the key. Try another key if you have one.

SOURCE: how do you bypass anti thief so my car will run.

there is no easy way. the problem is most likely the key tumbler failed and a code will indicate this. if it was easy to bypass the security it wouldnt be security.

Change the ignition in my 2007 Yukon now security is on my Dash and will not start

Hello. It seems the ignition switch and your car's anti-theft system are not 'linking' (aka) communicating with each other. Your vehicle 'thinks' it's being stolen. This is why you can't start it, normally, and the 'SECURITY' lamp stays lit. Attain another lock cylinder and switch or tow your car to a certified automotive lock and key shop for them to remove, replace and recalibrate your ignition switch. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Why did a key in ignition appear everytime i open the door of my 2007 jeep compass

switch failure
try using a scan tool , it bet it has the DTC for this failure
the failure is you, not scanning the PCM.
10x that on 2007+ jeeps. or lose.

I have an 2001 grand prix there was an atempted theft saw the ignition key swith turn tab popted off . vehicle startes for three seconds an shuts off .

When the thief broke away the switch, he most likely broke the part that reads the code from the key. The fact that the car starts for 3 seconds and then stalls is a tell tale sign that the antitheft has failed. The injectors actually turn off because its not reading that code properly. You have 2 options. Replace the ignition with an original OEM ignition and the have the dealer reprogram it to accept the key signal. Or bypass the antitheft entirely. I'd suggest the bypass just due to the cost of dealer fees and OEM parts. But its all up to you. PS. You can install the bypass yourself and drive it that day. Here is a link explaining the system and gives you some options for DO IT YOURSELF fixes.

Dash dead ,turn key nothing happens,no click, battery good, ignition switch is new, starter turns over when jumped with screwdriver,lights,horn,acc.work.

It there is a problem with the dash, there is probably no power to the anti theft module in your ignition. The car is in anti theft mode due to not being able to read your key transponder. Basically if it cant read the key, it thinks its being stolen. Either fix the dash lights, or fully bypass the security. All the security info you need is on here including how to bypass it.

How to reset the anti thief system of a 2006 pacifica when you have lost you remote

You cant bypass the anti-theft system. The dealer put that package in there so it couldn't be stolen. You need to go to the dealer for reprogramming. Probably will be $150.
