2015 honda accord fuel lever, I dropped something down and I cannot retrieve, I have to take the plastic cover off. how do I do this

Hard to diagnose over a computer with out the proper technical data, or specs, or more info, but erratic idling could be due to a number of things, from, bad plugs/incorrectly gaped spark plugs, bad knock sensor, bad fuel/contaminated fuel/dirty fuel filter, clogged or partially clogged injector(s), loose belt/bad pulley, faulty computer, dirty air filter, bad O2 sensor(s). I've worked on Honda's since 1984, they do have a MAP sensor, they were normally located on the upper manifold towards the front on some older models, on newer models they are normally on the front-side of the manifold right around the belts and pulley's, on some they are underneath the front plastic covering that covers the water pump, sprockets and most of the front of the motor so you wont see it. The link below is NOT To sell you any parts, it's to show you what one looks like so you may find it on your engine.

There is a shift lock release lever located just to the left of the gear shift. Pop off the plastic cover, and then use a flathead screwdriver or similar instrument to push down and release the lever. While you are holding that down, you will be able to override the lock and shift out of park. Then release the lever.

There is a shift lock release lever you can use to override the lock. It is located to the left of the gear shift, and it's covered by a small plastic cover that you can pop off. Use a flathead screwdriver (or something similar) to push the lever in, and then you can shift out of park.

The fuel pump is probably located at the fuel tank. You will find the fuel pump mounted on the top of the fuel tank. There will be an access cover, about the size of a saucer, glued down with caulk under the trunk carpet just behind the back seat, or under the back seat bottom. Once you have located this cover, pry it up--I don't think there will be any screws. You should then be able to unscrew the plate from the top of the tank which will lift the fuel pump and sender unit. PLEASE OBSERVE EVERY PRUDENT PRECAUTION FOR WORKING AROUND FLAMMABLE VAPORS AND LIQUIDS! EVEN IF THE TANK IS EMPTY!
THE FUEL PUMP IS INSIDE THE GAS TANK. GOT TO DROP THE GAS TANK TO CHANGE IT.

the fuel pump on an accord is located inside the gas tank and unfortunately there is no access cover to get at it. you will have to drop the gas tank to get at the fuel pump

You'll need to remove the plastic access covers from your column and then tighten the bolt that is holding your tilt lever. You will need to remove the little retainer that has the slots/teeth in it to tighten the bolt.

First, take a good look at what you’re doing.
Look on the right side of open glove box and locate a plastic lever. You will see grooves on the end connected to the glove box. The grooved area is the spot to place the thumb in order to press this lever off the glove box when it comes time to do that.
Look up under the glove box. You will see two brass colored screws one on each side of the bottom of the glove box. These screws go up through two square plastic hinges that are attached to the glove box and into the the dash frame.
Okay, with the glove box closed remove the two brass colored screws, and put them aside so you won’t lose them..
Open the glove box and hold the glove box with your left hand and press on the plastic lever (grooved area) located on the right side of the glove box. This lever (the lever already mentioned above) is slotted and will pop off the glove box.
Put the glove box carefully aside.
Look straight in behind the glove box. You will see a rectangular black plastic cover approximately 1.5 inches wide by 8 inches long. On the right and left side are arrows pointing in. Press the arrows and pull out on the cover. This will slide out the tray that holds the filter. Remove old filter and insert the new one, flow arrows pointing down.
Retrieve glove box, hold in place, and attach plastic plastic lever to the right side of the glove box. The reverse of removal.
Next, the two plastic hinges located on the bottom of the glove box fit underneath the dash frame.
While holding the glove box in place (the glove box latch may hold glove box in place while installing screws) re-install the two screws through the plastic hinges into the frame and tighten.

I just did my neices Honda ignition switch. It was doing the same thing.
Not the key switch, but the electric switch thats connected to the key under the plastic cover. You will see it when you remove the plastic cover. It has about 5 wires connected to it.And some tricky screws holding it in.
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST!!! Before starting to take it apart.
I think the ignition switch cost about $75.00 at the auto parts store.

some of them have plastic hooks on them also try sliding it up down left and right it should pop loose and you will be able to pull it out
