My 01 Acura tl transmission slip some time and was wanting to know why

Should go into the Same Hole that the Dipstick comes out of. You are gonna need a Funnel to accomplish this.

Depending on how long you drove it low and how low it is (was), You can severely damage trans. Oil keeps it cool and lubricated. Parts in there are very sensitive to both. If you think it's got a noisy bearing, try to isolate which side. drive with windows open, have someone help you by listening on passenger side as well. If it's that noisy should not be too hard to find.

you should have checked the transmission fluid first .change it if black as dirty fluid can give you a sticky solinoid in the gearbox

your car could still be under warranty depending on the miles the car have call your Acura dealer for info. I had my transmission replaced in Feb 09 and it was done for FREE!!
