SOURCE: timing belt setting and my car iddle are out of form mazda etude

Your camshaft and crankshaft pulleys have to be properly aligned upon installation of the timing belt. The cogs on the belt, should fit precisely with the teeth of the pulleys. Your # 1 engine cylinder should be moved to "Top Dead Center" before installing the belt. This means no compression once the top of the piston cylinder reaches the top of the chamber.

The spare key is the valet key, You can call the dealer and have them cut you new keys for you car. You will need the VIN number and your registration for the car. If it doesn't have chip in it, they can make it for you in a couple of minutes. If it has the chip in it, they will have to order it. Without the chip, the key will cost between $20 and $30 dollars.

2014 Mazda CX-5. Codes keep popping up one after another after I fix one. Any ideas??

Question edited for clarity, punctuation, Capitalization and spelling.
Question moved to model category.

Delete all the codes and never act on a first time code, just delete it and see if it comes back. If it does, depending on what it is, you can delete it a second time. Variable Valve Timing can often be a problem. Try cleaning the connector on the VVT Solenoid with switch cleaner spray.

Mazda cx-7 turbo turns over but want start

The Mazda CX-7 ran for 6yrs (2006-2012), which year is yours? Sorry but without specific diagnostic information. There is no way to narrow down your search or provide helpful ideas. Your symptoms could be anything. For Example: Out of gas, Low or no fuel pressure, Timing issue, Blown fuse, Faulty wiring, Bad ground, Defective CKP sensor, Damaged PCM or faulty ignition component. Please write back but I need much more information to help. Is the engine light on? Do you own a scan tool or code reader? If so, did you already look to see if any codes were stored?

With the number of steps required to do this, your best bet is to purchase a Haynes manual (or equivalent). This way you have photos of the procedure plus all the correct torque spec for all the bolts when reinstalling.

2007 Mazda cx-7 battery completely dead the engine starts on and off

Sounds like a bad power connection either on positive or negative side of battery. Could also be a bad connection from the fuseable links of fuse box in engine bay. Camshaft misaligned code is more likely on these models with the L3 engine a stretched timing chain issue. Very common but Mazda wont admit to it. Cheers

Here's what it says Heather,
  • The crankshaft position sensor identifies position of the crankshaft to the ignition control module (ICM), engine control module (ECM) or powertrain control module (PCM)
