Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the fan belt, remove the wires from the alternator, take the bolts loose that mount the alternator to the motor and lift it off and replace with a new
one. Follow the reverse of this to replace the new one.
What size engine is in the vehicle, is it a v/6 or four cylinder. If it is a v/6 then the alternator will or should be on the right bank of the engine which in this case will be the back of the engine near the firewall. Let me know.

The sensor that is facing and closer to the front of car will be the intake, while the the farther one will be the exhaust camshaft sensor. ??
