Phone dealer radio code is free
Hi, so you press 2&5, than "on" button, radio starts to play music and beeps every few seconds, now you input number code i.e. 0123 where you jump to second digit because first is 0? and finaly press 5 to memorize code.
did i get ir right?
My renault does not have stick control near steering wheel.
or
the way to enable code mode is to turn off the radio - then hold down 2&5 & press the on button - this will bring you into the 0000 code mode.

Not familar with your car but I had same problem many years ago with a Vauxhall Astra and did same as you, disconnected battery and re-connected, radio didn't work - but my display kept flashing for security code to be re-input, which I didn't have.
Yours could be the same if radio not worked since disconnection - solution: if you dont have code & not in any documentation you got with car, then the radio will need to be re-coded by a dealer (expensive) or enquire with local car spares shops - they normally know a cheaper source. Mine cost about £18 (5 years ago) to get re-coded & I had to remove & reinstall myself.

It is best that you disconnect the negative battery terminal while disconnecting & removing or reinstalling the seat.
Be sure to ground yourself by touching metal when going to unplug any harness in a computer controlled vehicle to prevent static discharge. (the airbag is connected throught the harness you are removing and any spark that would hit that wire, could trigger the airbag to deploy)
good luck
