Check the wire harness in your door hinge for broken or chafed wires. As the door opens and closes repeatedly it fatigues the wiring often causing this symptom especially if the flex cover is damaged. If you have a door lock that’s not always working it could be the lock actuator located behind the door panel near the external key lock. Sometimes the wires from the actuator get into the pathway of the window exposing bare wire which could be causing the short issue. Switching the passenger and driver side bulbs is a long-shot but not unheard of, is also quick, easy and doesn’t cost anything.

Check the power wires between the headlights and the fuse box for damage. Sounds like you have a power line short to ground. Meaning the wire that supplies 12 volts to the headlight is making contact with a grounding wire or touching bare metal
somewhere between the fuse box and the headlight. Internet search a wire diagram to use as a map before you start the wire trace.

SOURCE: My 2002 astro van door locks will not fully

On repairing door locks first check the cigarette lighter and see if it works, the door locks gets it power on the same fuse. If good, you then need to check if 12VDC is at each of the actuators when pressing the switches for the locks. If no power is not at the actuator you should suspect the power lock relay to be defective. This relay is located beneath the steering column within a major cluster of connectors and is located within a bank of 3 relays located within a covered housing. These 3 relays are identical and you can temporaly reverse them to see if this will solve the problem. If it does, GM's part # is RY-232. Can't help you on the rest.......sorry!

SOURCE: 2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

2002 dodge grand caravan se 3.3 V6

In a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with a 3.3 V6 engine, there are several fuses that you can check if the front heat/air/defrost is not working. These fuses are located in the engine compartment and in the passenger compartment fuse box.

To check the fuses in the engine compartment:

Locate the fuse box cover on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
Remove the cover by pressing in the tabs on the sides of the cover.
Look at the fuse diagram on the inside of the cover or in the owner's manual to determine which fuses to check. The fuses related to the front heat/air/defrost are typically labeled "HVAC" or "Blower Motor."
Use a fuse tester or a multimeter to test the fuses. If the fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced.
To check the fuses in the passenger compartment fuse box:

Locate the fuse box under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle.
If checking the fuses does not resolve the issue with the front heat/air/defrost, there may be a problem with the blower motor or the HVAC system

Why do I have no auto night headlights, no electronic mirror adjustments and no auto locks. They all quit on my 3/96 4.6L single cab f150 lariat, why?

after all fuses and relays verified are working it sounds like you have keyless entry on the door panel with a keypad and in either case theres a driver door module inside the door panel this may have gone or the fuse for that has blown I'm ssuming that you have the owners manual with the diagrams if not ford owners .com register then download your manual then go to roadside emergencies and the fuse and power distribution box diagrams are there also this could be you headlight switch so if the fuses are all good then lookat the door module on the drivers side next to the speaker or the headlight switch do the windows work also check the master window switch this is because all components have some borrowed power from other wire circuits so look carefully at all of these even a corroded wire or contact can cause havoc on other systems clean al and a light dab or spray of wd40 will help you good luck Stephen

Multiple electrical problems

yes take each problem one at a time, the passenger window is probably the switch on the passenger door, drivers side rear window sounds like motor or connection problem, your headlight is probably a bad ground for that light power locks a fuse or relay, radio, ck antenna leads

Headlights, power door locks, rear windshield wiper and remote control does not work on 2002 Dodge Durango.

It sounds like a fuse. Check your manual to locate your fuse box, check to see what fuse goes to to the headlights, door locks etc, and check the fuses to see if they are burnt out.

I have a F150 KR. The headlight switch stays on the auto setting. when it is dark, my headlights will not come on, only the parking lights. What might be the problem?

Fuses to check for the autolamp pat

Cab fuse panel, fuse #29
Engine compartment fuse panel, fuses #3, and #6.

Fuse #3 in the engine compartment could be bad, this feeds the headlamp relay.
If the fuses are good, next item to check are the relays for the autolamp function. These are in a relay block, under the oval on the dash.

The oval is held down with spring clips, work one side up with a plastic trim tool ( last resort is a plastic putty knife ).
Under the oval, on the right hand side, there should be a relay block, with the parking lamp and headlamp relays in it ( the 2 relay one, not the 3, that is the door lock relay block ). Swap the 2 relays, and the autolamps should not illuminate the headlamp and the parking lamps should be off, if it is a problem with the relay.
