This is a hydraulic powered lift gate, and it is normal for these to be slow. If excessively slow it needs to be diagnosed by someone familiar with the normal operation of the lift platform. Ask a mechanic with hydraulic control experience to look at it. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR YOURSELF!

The exhaust brake may be what you're looking for. The operation is usually by way of a stalk control or maybe a switch mounted on the dash in easy reach of the driver. When its active it works when you release your foot from the gas pedal and restricts the gas being exhausted from the engine, thereby slowing down without the use of the brake. Don't try to use it to stop! Its there for mountaines terain and steep hills....Over use can over heat the engine and cause cylinder head damage.

normally the primer is on the filtre and bleed screw there too
what i normally do is fill the fuel filtre with clean diesol and fit and then prime if you r have=ing real difficulty you could open pipes going to injectors and turn over ttill you see the diesol coming from pipes ,but normally just prime it it should start

ok I had same problem with my 1996 Isuzu npr 5.7 gas burner. on top of fuel tank are wires and cant remember if it was 3 or 4 but anyways one of those wires is your ground wire to the fuel pump its self. make sure the wire has a good ground on the frame and/or the bed body of the truck. wish you the best hope I could help you
