you problem is the length of the stroke which is governed by the throw of the crank pin ( distance from the center of the main journal to the center of the con rod pin)
As there are significant differences in torque ratings between the engines it is possible that the bearing sizes will differ and the blocks will be different
That being the case , it is doubtful if the heads are interchangable
Engine reconditioning companies will possibly have all of the specs for bearings , pistons and heads and you may be able to get a ready comparison or go to en.m.wikipedia.org to get a better idea of the differences

I had matched all the numbers on the gears from crankshaft to the top.. But when matching the letters on the camshaft pulley, the piston hits the valve when turning the engine...
