I have a keyless 2011 Rav4. The engine crank but it will not start. Battery and everything else seems fine. I spray starting fluid and the engine run for a 5 seconds and died. I turn the car on without cranking and did not hear a humming or buzz noise from the fuel pump as stated in other site. My first diagnosis would be the circuit opening relay. Only problem is, I can't seem to find where it hidden. I checked both relay panel under the hood, no circuit opening relay or C/OPN. I checked the left side under the driver side foot, found other relays and Flasher relay but no Circuit Opening Relay. The manual stated that it should be on the driver side. Anyone happen to know where before I end up tearing my car into bits? Also, does the relay have another name beside fuel pump relay which seem to be replaced by "circuit opening relay"?

When you turn the key to the on position you should hear a 2-3 second buzz coming from the rear of the car. This will be the fuel pump priming the fuel system. If you don't hear this buzz, you may have a bad fuel pump.If there was fuel in the tank when it was parked,it will have certainly turned to varnish by now, possibly clogging the fuel filter, injectors, lines, pressure regulator, etc.Good luck,

check your fuses or the fuel relay which are located in the fuse box either by the drivers side or in the engine compartment,
