2002 3500 sport 5.9
Most likely the voltage regulator has dropped out of service/gone bad. The computer compensated for a bit, but it wasn't the computer to begin with. Change the inboard voltage regulator inside the alternator. Get one fron any auto parts outlet. It's cheaper to do it this way, but is you don't feel like getting your hands dirty, take it to a shop and have them change the alternator for you.

I had the same problem on a 94 dodge with the cummins. It seems the crank sensor that reads from a notch on the harmonic balancer was the problem Without this sensor reading that the engine is running the alternator wont charge. Possibly the same problem with yours

Try a Glass shop. There should only be a motor and a switch. The glass shop should be able to get the window closed for you if it is open.
The power rear window is an option, so I do not know how easy it is to find parts in a salvage yard. It may not need anything big, could be an adjustment.
You can call for estimates once you identify the TRUE problem.

SOURCE: i have a 2006 ram 3500 deisel truck ac not
First thing is to look at the a/c fuse and relay under the hood in the power panel. Possible blown fuse or a bad relay. If no blown fuse or bad relay found then go to passanger side of truck and you will see a black canaster with a low pressure switch on it. Remove plug to switch and using a jumper wire jump out the plug to see if the compressor clutch comes in. (have the truck running with the a/c selector switch on ). If the clutch comes on then it's either you have very little freon gas in system or the low pressure switch is bad and will need to replace it. Use small pliers to remove switch and replace it with a new switch, make sure it has a new o-ring inside switch before installing it. Hope this will help you.
