High beam, low beam, or both?
Passenger side
I assume passenger side works normally. Does the drivers side headlight remain dim regardless whether high or low beam seleted?
That is impossible to tell when the high beam is on....No?
Ok... I understand my confusing the issue.
What i'm asking is; Cmpare the general intensity of the left lamp to the right lamp when high beams selected.
Then switch to low beams and again compare general intensity of left lamp to right lamp.
When you select low beams and compare left to right intensity the driver side is not as bright as the passenger?
The purpose of the exercise is to determine if the issue is common return (ground) of the driver side lamp assembly or the source path of the driver side low beam.
I believe it is not a ground issue since driver side high beam is blinding you :)
I'll attempt a solution and post later.
The Juke has separate fuses for L/R low beams, so we'll start there.
Step 1.a.1) Swap the low beam fuses. Engine compartment fuse box 1, F13 and F14.
If you don't have a fuse diagram see following URL
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.autogen...
Step 1.a.2) Check low beam intensity.
Step 1.b.1) Swap fuses F13 and 14 again. (That's right... put the fuses back where they were)
Step 1.b.2) Check low beam intensity.
Now I expect 1 of three things to have happened.
1. No change in L/R low beams.
2. Its fixed.
3. The dim low beam swapped from driver side to passenger side and back.
Let me know results.

Check the plug that plugs in to the globe, bend all connections a bit smaller so it goes in tight. Had the same problem on my car and it was a bad connection. Also check the ground wire /connection might be broken off.
Testimonial: "There is no under the hood diagram in my manual to change bulbs or anything involving them seek help from dealers"
Check the pigtails
If looks like it's burnished/ brownish
It is possible that needs to be replaced

Check wire connectors and ground make sure wires seam to be in good condition and light socket also. If you want to make sure you did not buy a bad bulb swap from one side to the other if passenger side is then dim you have a bad bulb, One more thought make sure both bulbs are the same.
just my thoughts.

check the ground wire for thi lite as it sounds like it is dirty or making bad contact.

For some reason, Toyota chooses to wire their headlamps differently than domestic cars, with dual fuses for the headlamps, and a common ground for each headlamp...The reason that the lamp was dim is the bulb was getting power thru a "backfeed" condition, due to the poor ground. The fuse may have blown due to the poor ground, also.

did you check your fuese under the hood al so check were your light plug in you may have a broken wire

Check the headlight relay.Little plastic cube
about 1 1/2" square, usually black or dark brown and white ink numbers
printed on top.Bottom has blades sticking down into the wire
connectors.Location will either be under the dash or under the hood, not
sure exactly about mustang There
will likely be other relays in the same location, and many times you can
match up two relays with the numbers printed on top,and swap the relay
with say...the wipers' relay, just to see if it is a bad relay.Cheap
($0) and a check worth doing
I hope this will solve your issue.
Good Luck.
If my solution proves useful please accept it.

The driver side headlight is dim. This is caused by loose
ground contact of the headlight ground terminal. Have
a check on this by tightening it up or reconnecting to
good ground (chassis).
