YES,,, FIND THE POWER LEAD TO THE BACK UP ALARM AND INSTALL A SMALL RESISTOR IN THE WIRE. OR FIND THE FUSE IN THE FUSE BOX AND INSTALL A VARIABLE RESISTOR IN PLACE OF THE FUSE. MAKING SURE THAT IS THE ONLY THING CONTROLLED BY THAT FUSE.

SOURCE: 94 v6 camaro automatic.. no reverse or neutral.

Sounds like you may have burned out the reverse clutch pack inside the transmission by going from drive to reverse. I would recommend seeing a transmission shop for verification. Hope this helps

SOURCE: 95 camaro, factory alarm wont let me start the car what

U will need to bypass the factory VATS (vehicle anti-theft system) system, it is very simple and all you need to know is at the web page link below.

We recently purchase a 2005 kia sedona and when put in reverse it beeps sometimes continued beep till put in drive( no back up camera) can anyone tell me if this is normal or why it does this?

talk with a service centre but it would not be unusual for the vehicle to have a reversing alarm fitted especially if the alarm stops on selecting forward gears

How do I get 2001 Celica to stop beeping when I lock - unlock doors thus enabling and disabling the alarm? Thanks, Nina

Hi Nina, there are a few different combinations depending on year and model of alarm, for yours could you try disconnecting the battery again, turn the ignition key to accessory.....the one before ignition start and then reconnect the battery. Let me know if it disables the beeps!

Equinox beeps when parked

A simpler solution: Turn off your AC. It has a sensor that beeps when it's over-heated. If you have a trip that will take a couple of hours or more, top off your coolant and turn your AC down to its lowest fan and temp level. You're welcome.

1989 Chevy Camaro Security system

Just take every cord connected to the positive side of the battery off for 10 seconds to allow the alarm to reset, then flip the little switch under the dash so the alarm won't activate again.
