If its the correct key. Did you try turning the wheel to release the lock. Sometimes people like myself move the wheel and it puts pressure on the lock and wont unlock without moving the wheel. It does not need much but may help

SOURCE: is there a chip in the ignition key for a 2008

Only the dealer is capable of making a key with a chip and they are $$$.You can try a regular key make shop and they will know too what it is if the dealer is already closed.Good luck! Greg

Do I require any special tools to replace the driver's side rear reflector on the bumper of a 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz. It appears to snap in, but I don't want to break it. Thanks.

There's nothing in the manuals about special tools. I have the same problem. I think you'll have to remove the lower bumper in order to get good access to it. It appears that there is a black housing screwed into the bumper from the rear side and the lens would snap into that.

We own a 2008 hyundai sonata. Three times now, we have tried to start our car and when inserting the ignition key, it will not turn. We have spent up to 45 minutes trying to get it to turn with no luck....

Start with the basics - I had a car with this exact problem an the solution was simple - corroded battery terminals. Try cleaning them first if that does not get it try to jump start it or check charge the battery as if the terminals were corroded then it may not have gotten good charge from the alternator. If still no joy then look towards starter motor / solenoid for starter.

2008 Hyundai Elantra. CD is stuck in the player. Says "Loading'. Can't eject it. Radio works fine. But CD is hopelessly still loading and stuck. Is there a pin hole eject or an easy way to...

disconnect the 2 audio fuses and wiat 5 minutes with the ignition key off, insert both fuses, then turn the key on. if it doesnt eject, it probably has an internal defect and will need to be repaired.
