SOURCE: HOW TO REMOVE 12 VOLT OUTLET

Are you talking about the cigar lighter in the center black panel, or the power point to the right of the radio ?

The center one, you need to pull the trim panel off. Open the ask tray, and give it a yank in both lower corners ( one at a time ) it is hard to do the first time, but there are 6 ( 8? ) spring clips holding it on.
Once you have the trim panel off, the cigar lighter is held in place by a plastic ring from the back. You need to push in the pins to get it off the back ( after unplugging the socket connector ).

To get to the power point, you need to do the same with trim panel removal, and push from the back of it. There are pins holding it into the silver dash panel.

If the fuse for the cigar lighter or power point ( 2 different fuses ) is already dead, just used needle nose pilars to pull the parts out. had the same thing with my Nuvi plug the first time. It is the fuse and nose for the fuse that is left in there.

SOURCE: 12 volt Power outlet in Chrysler Mini Van does not work

im sure of a fuse somewere and its probably a large one.
if the unit shorts it has to have a fuse first thing.
you may find a fuse under the hood in the fuse box.
and then you may find a fuse in the unit itself .
the other thing is to remove it and connect it to another car battery.
if you have a bad unit then a salvage yard in your area should have one.
also test the power in your car going to the unit.if its set to run all the time then theres a fuse at the battery or the fuse box.
one other thing is check for recalls
you may get lucky.

hope this helps

SOURCE: 12 volt power outlet is not functioning.

check for voltage with test light suspect that wire at back of outlet pulled off

Testimonial: "Yeah, that was the issue. I had to pull off the black plastic faceplate that borders the radio and HVAC control unit (it's held in with metal clips bent into a triangular shape, made to provide a bit of resistance, but they pop in and out with no damage) to get to it. Thanks for the quick response, sorry about the late reply. Thanks again!"

2016 Hyundai sonata rear 12v power outlet not working

It is possible that the issue with the rear power outlet not working on your 2016 Hyundai Sonata is due to a problem with the power outlet relay in the engine fuse box compartment. You should inspect the relay and see if it has any visible damage or if it is loose. If it is damaged or loose, you should replace it. If the relay looks fine, you can check for any other fuses in the engine fuse box that may control the rear power outlet. If you are not familiar with electrical systems, it is recommended that you take your vehicle to a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.

I am needing the location of the air bag control module for a 2016 ford t250 transit cargo van.

If you have an air bag light on the dash lit up, I strongly suggest taking it to the dealer. Tampering with these components could cause accidental air bag deployment. (expensive, bodily injury)

Add 12 volt outlet switched by ignition

Look in your owners manual for the accessory fuse. That line turns off. Also, consider a 12 volt relay between the seat and your power source. A small toggle switch will work well for a relay.

Either under the driver's side dash by you left foot or under the hood. Please check your owners manual for position of fuse panel(s).

No power to cigarette lighter/power outlet (front & rear)..

Replace the 15 amp ACC fuse that is in the fusebox under the dash. See if this eliminates your problem.
