No gas going to 2005 mazda 6i

Hey i broke down the other day and determined there was no gas going to car at all so i figured i needed a new fuel pump. I called mazda to get the part and was told the pump was built into the tank and they dont sell them! Any ideas on what it maybe i know it could be relay or filter but is there a way to narrow it down or anyone with this problem before.

When you turn the key to ON, can you hear the fuel pump hum for a couple of seconds.

The fuel pump is a complete asm. that you can get from mazda we sell them every day. the way you get to it is to remove the back seat lower seat. you remove it and you will see a panel that once you remove it the top of the gas tank and fuel pump are visible. you will need a special tool to unscrew the hold down but after that it is very easy to change.

Check engine light on 2005 mazda 6i

There are many things that can cause a problem like that and it is not possible to diagnose it without a lot more information, preferably a connection to the OBD socket. You are doing the right thing taking it to a service centre.

Mazda 6i alarm going off and battery dying

The alarm is going off most likely due to a defective battery in the car, this is caused by low system voltage, so you have it backwards. Have the battery load tested by Autozone it is free.

The best way to replace the headlght bulb

In my opinion, the BEST way is to get somebody else to do it for free!...LOL

However, that is not very likely to happen in this millenium, so I have provided the pictures below.

Also please note that there is a Mazda 6i and a Mazda 6s But there is no Mazda MX6 in 2005. There is, however, a Mazda MX5...so assuming this is what you meant, the pictures are for the MX5.

If you meant Masda 6i or Mazda 6s, these pictures are not even close because the 6-series requires removal of the front bumper to remove the head lights.

My 2005 Mazda 3, Engine Problems

I honestly think that it is your mass airflow sensor that either went bad or needs cleaning. Auto Zone can run a computer test on your car and diagnose your problem, and if so, they carry a special can of Mass Airflow Cleaner put out by CVR that cost around 6 or 7 bucks. The mass airflow sensor determines how rich to make the gas. This would cause the car to hesitate or jump. Hope this helps. Please leave feedback!

Computer code P2187 for a 2003 mazda 6i

You're running lean. A common problem in Mazdas is a delayed fuel pressure build up from the fuel pump. There's a service bulletin out on that condition. Do you experience a rough idle, stall, or hesitation?

How can fix code P0703 on mazda 6i v6 2005

The conditions that set this code are as follows:

The PCM monitors changes in input voltage on Brake Switch No. 1. If the PCM does not sense voltage changes at PCM terminal 82 when alternately accelerated and decelerated 8 times, the PCM determines that brake switch No. 1 has a malfunction

Possible Causes are:
  • Brake Switch malfunction
  • connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to power circuit between Brake Switch terminal D and PCM terminal 82
  • Open circuit between Brake Switch terminal D and PCM terminal 82
  • Malfunctioning PCM
